(1885-1889); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1888, 1896); elected, school director; died, September 14, 1925 in Nicholson, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Nicholson Cemetery, Nicholson, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
