FRAZIER, Robert Sellers, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Fayette City, Fayette County, Pa., September 18, 1849; attended, West Chester Academy (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania); attended, Western University of Pittsburgh (now University of Pittsburgh), 1873; newspaper editor and publisher; teacher; instructor, University of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania Military Academy; lawyer (1873-1896); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1877, 1878 and 1879 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1880); elected, judge, Allegheny County Common Pleas Court (1896-1914; president judge, 1900-1914); associate justice, Pennsylvania Supreme Court (1914-1930); chief justice, Pennsylvania Supreme Court (1930-January, 1936); died, July 31, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
