DUNHAM, Edwin Murray, a Representative from Sullivan County; born in Windham Township, Bradford County, Pa., August 31, 1844; teacher, lawyer (1866-1924); elected, burgess, school director and city council, Laporte; elected, jury commissioner, Sullivan County (1867-1870); elected, District Attorney, Sullivan County (1870-1873); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1878; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1880); elected, president judge, 44th judicial district, Sullivan and Wyoming Counties (1894-1904); unsuccessful campaign for reelection as judge (1904); president, Dushore Bank; died, September 10, 1924 in Johnson City, Washington County, Tennessee; interred, Mountain Ash Cemetery, Laporte, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.
