Clarke & Company, general merchants; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1879 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1880); broker; assistant appraiser, Philadelphia; secretary, Lewis Motor Vehicle Co.; died, June 24, 1911 in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
