STOLER, David M., a Representative from Bedford County; born, September 18, 1839 in Liberty Township, Bedford County, Pa.; attended, Juniata Collegiate Institute (Juniata College); served, Quartermaster’s Department, Calvary Depot, United States Army, Washington DC (1861-1865, Civil War); proprietor, Little & Stoler, mercantile business; school director, Saxton, Bedford County; elected, burgess, Saxton; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Saxton, Pa.; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1881 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1882); died, February 15, 1920 in Saxton, Bedford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fockler Cemetery, Saxton, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.
