SILVERTHORN, Myron Hutchinson, a Representative from Erie County; born, June 19, 1827 in Fairview, Erie County, Pa.; farmer; superintendent, Eric County almshouse (5 years); elected, commissioner, Erie County (1871-1875); elected, justice of the peace (1875); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1879 and 1881 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1882); died, May 10, 1899 in Fairview, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
