CAMPBELL, Anson Blewer, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, October 23, 1837 in Lisbon, Columbiana County, Oh.; attended, Monongahela Academy (2 years); captain, Company M, 100th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1863, Civil War); farmer; engaged, insurance and real estate business (1866-1906); elected, secretary, school board;  elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1879 and 1881 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1883 term; president, Union National Bank of McKeesport; died, April 30, 1907 in Monongahela, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
