REED, Dr. William Logan, a Representative from Indiana County; born, February 11, 1843 in Armstrong Township, Indiana County, Pa.; graduated, Westminster College, 1867; M.D., Medical College of Physicians and Surgeons, Cincinnati, Oh., 1874; private, Company D, 62nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1864, Civil War); private, Company K, 190th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1864-1865, Civil War; prisoner of war, 1864-1865); farmer; teacher; physician; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1889 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1891 term; elected, burgess, Jacksonville, Pa.; died, September 26, 1908 in Homer City, Indiana County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
