WALTERS, Milton Hoffman, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, September 4, 1848 in Marlborough Township, Montgomery County, Pa.; attended, Hall Collegiate Institute, Trappe; attended, Freeland Seminary (now Ursinus College); teacher, Marlborough Township (4 terms); engaged, milling business (16 years); farmer; engaged, real estate; farm and storm insurance business; school director, Marlborough Township; elected, justice of the peace, Marlborough Township (1883-1890); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1890; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1892); justice of the peace, Upper Salford Township; died, September 3, 1927 in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hill, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
