BROWN, Harold L., a Representative from Berks County; born in Reading, Berks County, Pa., October 21, 1946; graduated, Reading High School; B.S., Kutztown State College (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania), 1968; teacher (1968-1974); elected, council, Reading (1973-1976); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1977 term and served 2 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1982); teacher, Reading (1983-1995).
