BACHERT, William Miller, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, March 19, 1837 in West Penn Township, Schuylkill County, Pa.; farmer; railroad worker; teacher; school director; elected, justice of the peace, Rush Township; co-owner, The Union Dynamite and Powder Company; engaged, lumber business; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1888 and 1890; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1892); died, June 30, 1903 in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Christ Church Cemetery, Barnesville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
