REBER, Franklin Leonard, a Representative from Berks County; born, December 15, 1846 in Perry Township, Berks County, Pa.; attended, Keystone State Normal School (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania); teacher (23 years); elected, school board secretary, Perry Township (4 years); civilian, construction corps, United States Army (Civil War); engaged in farming and creamery business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1890 and 1892; not a candidate for reelection to the House in 1894; died, August 10, 1907 in Shoemakersville, Berks County, Pennsylvania; Saint Lukes Cemetery, Shoemakersville, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
