McMASTER, Robert C., a Representative from Crawford County; born, June 13, 1839 in Adamsville, Crawford County, Pa.; sergeant, Company H, 145th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1865, Civil War); schoolteacher (2 years); engaged, wholesale hardware and farm equipment store; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1893 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1895 term; vice president, First National Bank, Greenville, Pa.; director, Crawford County Trust Company; died, March 2, 1916 in West Fallowfield Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rocky Glen Cemetery, Adamsville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
