FOLTZ, Moses Abraham, a Representative from Franklin County; born, July 2, 1837 in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County, Pa.; attended, Wilkes-Barre Academy; engaged, printing trade, Repository and Transcript (1855-1858); editor and publisher, The Times (1859-1860); superintendent, Reformed Church Publication Office (1861-1864); editor and printer, County Merchant (1866-1869); founder and editor,Chambersburg Public Opinion (1869-1915); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1892; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Chambersburg (1899-1905); died, April 16, 1915 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
