LEMON, Michael B., a Representative from Allegheny county; born, June of 1844 in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pa.; corporal, Company E, 155th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1864, Civil War); school board president, South School, Pittsburgh; traveling liquor salesman; elected, delegate, Republican State Convention (1885); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representative as a Republican in 1886; reelected to the House for 4 more consecutive terms; died while in office, April 29, 1895 in New York City, New York County, New York; interred, Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
