(1916-1921); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1894; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1896); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1900); secretary, Mountain Spring Water Ice Company; founder, White Haven Record; elected, president, White Haven school board; elected, council, White Haven; died, April 12, 1949 in White Haven, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Stroudsburg Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
