COMLY, Franklin Ayres, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, February 17, 1856 in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, Pa.; attended, Friend’s Central School, Philadelphia; attended, Swarthmore College; clerk, Bound Brook Railway Company (1876-1886); engaged, produce commission business; farmer; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1890); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1892 and 1894; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1896); died, April 15, 1903 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Thomas Episcopal Church Cemetery, Whitemarsh, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
