BUCKWALTER, Joseph Warren, a Representative from Perry County; born in Wallace Township, Chester County, Pa., February 22, 1850; attended, Mt. Dempsey and New Bloomfield Academies;  teacher (5 years); mercantile business (6 years); member, Perry County Republican Committee; commercial salesman; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1893 and 1895 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1896); farmer; died, May 3, 1911 in Logania, Perry County, Pennsylvania; interred, Newport Cemetery, Newport, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
