ELLIS, George Wilson, a Representative from Lebanon County; born, April 11, 1850 in Jonestown, Lebanon County, Pa.; attended, Swatara Institute; blacksmith; employed, Light Brothers, iron works; elected, council, Jonestown (12 years); elected, chief burgess, Jonestown (1895); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1894 and 1896; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1898); died, July 10, 1930 in Cheltenham Township,  Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Zion Lutheran Church, Jonestown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
