CUNNINGHAM, Gregg L., a Representative from Centre County; born in Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pa., May 30, 1947; B.A., pre-law, The Pennsylvania State University; J.D., Ohio Northern University; served, United States Air Force (5 years; Vietnam War); colonel, United States Air Force Reserves (25 years; aircraft maintenance officer; military lawyer for Pennsylvania Air National Guard units; intelligence officer for the 140th Tactical Fighter Wing of the Colorado Air National Guard; Logistics Plans and Programs staff officer with the Checkmate Division of the Air Force staff; intelligence officer in the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Readiness); attorney; court administrator and law clerk, Centre County (1976); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1979 and 1981 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1983 term; appointed, United States Department of Education (Reagan Administration); employed, Office of Legislative Affairs, United States Department of Justice (Reagan Administration); Special Assistant, United States Attorney for Los Angeles, California; executive director, The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform.
