LAWRENCE, Andrew Johnson, a Representative from Beaver County; born, June 9, 1837 in South Beaver Township, Beaver County, Pa.; attended, Darlington Academy; farmer; engaged, insurance business; elected, clerk of courts, Beaver County (1890-1895); elected, delegate, Pennsylvania State Republican Convention (1894); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1897 term; died while in office, August 26, 1898 in Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
