JOHNSON, Albert Williams, a Representative from Union County; born in Hartley Township, Union County, Pa., November 28, 1872; attended, Central Pennsylvania College; graduated, Bucknell University, 1896; lawyer; mercantile appraiser, Union County; elected as a Fusion-Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); instructor, law, Bucknell University (1902-1926); solicitor, Lewisburg and Union County (1908-1912); elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Union and Snyder Counties (1912-1921); solicitor, Pennsylvania Department of Education (1922-1923); presidential appointee, judge, United States Middle District Court of Pennsylvania (1925-1945); died, March 22, 1957 in Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania.
