Hines; engaged, real estate and insurance businesses; mail conductor, Long Island Railroad; elected, chair, Democratic Convention of the Sixth Legislative District, Luzerne County (1896); minute clerk, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Luzerne County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1898; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1900); general yard master, New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad; died, October 23, 1926 in the Bronx, New York City, Bronx County, New York.
