MILLER, Brett R., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, July 22, 1961 in East Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pa.; graduated, East Stroudsburg High School, 1979; B.S., summa cum laude, Liberty University, 1984; M.A., counseling, Liberty University, 1986; certification, secondary school counselor, Millersville University of Pennsylvania, 1989; certification, principal and counselor, The Pennsylvania State University, 1996; psychological assistant, Philhaven Hospital; guidance counselor, Garden Spot School District (4 years) and Warwick School District (22 years); elected, supervisor, East Hempfield Township (9 years; chair, 4 years); 1st vice-president, Lancaster County Association of Township Supervisors; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 2014; reelected to the House to serve 4 more consecutive terms.
