RASCO, Albert, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Fayette, Fayette County, Pa., July 2, 1925; graduated, Marion High School, 1943; B.S., University of Pittsburgh, 1955; private, Troop C, 12th Cavalry, United States Army (1944-1946, World War II); chair, Penn Hills Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on March 11, 1980; Sworn-In on April 8, 1980 to serve the remaining 1979 term; reelected to the 1981 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1982); office manager, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry; elected, Penn Hills School Board (1984-1989; president, 1988-1989); died, January 19, 1989 in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
