Early Life:

James A. Miller, born May 3, 1863, Linn Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; son of Reuben and Sarah Anna Mantz Miller; common and private school education; teacher, Linn Township; manager of his father-in-law’s hotel, general merchandising store; sole owner, merchandising store, 1900; elected, justice of the peace, 1884-1909; director, Merchants National Bank of Allentown; Democrat; married, Louise G. German Miller, son, Ralph Edgar Miller; died, January 22, 1933 (aged 69); interment, Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
