Born February 1, 1886, Carnegie, Alleghney County, the son of H. and B. (McDermott) Henney; educated at Carnegie elementary and high schools; University of Pittsburgh; graduated from the University of Louisville with a medical degree; served as Burgess of McKees Rocks, 1933-1937; state Senate, 1937-1940; resigned the Senate to serve as Allegheny County Coroner; medical examiner for B.R.T.; director, Bank of McKees Rocks; 1st Lt. Us Army Medical Corps, WWI; member McKees Rocks Medical Association; Allegheny Co. Medical Society; Pennsylvania Medical Society; and B.P.O.E; married Helen Connors. The senator resigned on December 24, 1938, and died at McKee’s Rocks on February 1, 1955.
