William David Craig

From Aliquippa, William D. Craig was born in Moon Township, Beaver County, December 31, 1882; educated in Beaver public schools; Piersol Academy; graduated from Geneva College; studied law with Judge William McConnel, 1905; and admitted to Beaver County Bar in 1908. He moved from Beaver to Aliquippa in 1910, where he practiced law; elected to the state Senate, 1917-1924; and served as Aliquippa solicitor for 15 years. William practiced in law in Beaver County for 56 years. He passed away in the Rochester Hospital, December 25, Christmas Day, 1964.
