ZANE, Hysler J., a Representative from Bucks County; born in Rockhill Township, Bucks County, Pa., September 4, 1859; carriage trimming apprentice; carriage manufacturer; employed, Headman & Company, painters and paper hangers; appointed, chief burgess, Sellersville (1890); superintendent, Sellersville Water Works (1895-1912); gubernatorial appointee, justice of the peace, Sellersville (34 years); secretary, council, Sellersville (34 years); elected as a Democratic Fusion candidate to the Pennsylvania House of Represenstatives in 1902; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House in the 1904 General election; died, December 11, 1931 in Sellersville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
