WILSON, Sydney Greye, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, September 17, 1882 in Stanton, Augusta County, Va.; attended, public schools of Roanoke, Va.; attended, Roanoke Blues Military Academy; clerk, National Tube Company; pay roll clerk, Carnegie Steel Company, real estate and insurance salesman; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1918; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1920); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1932, 1936, 1942); investigator, Pennsylvania State Department of Internal Affairs; died, December 1, 1953 in McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
