WILSON, John Lewis, a Representative from Crawford County; born, circa 1857 in Cherrytree Township, Venango County, Pa.; attended, Teachers’ Summer Normal School, Oil City; farmer; partner, Wilson Brothers, oil production driller; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1900; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1902); died, April 6, 1931 in Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Woodlawn Cemetery, Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
