WELCH, Everett C., a Representative from Somerset County, born, October 14, 1859 in Liberty, Union County, In.; deputy postmaster, United States Postal Service (1877-1882); piano salesman; elected, Recorder of Deeds, Somerset County (1902-1905); farmer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1910; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1912); died, January 18, 1940 in Friedens, Somerset County, Pennsylvania; interred, Friedens Lutheran Church Cemetery, Friedens, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
