Superintendent of Construction, United States War Department (World War I); engaged in automobile business; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1926; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1928); died, July 29, 1971; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
