WALNUT, T. Henry, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, September 4, 1880 in Riverton, Burlington County, NJ; graduated, Central High School, 1898; graduated, Law Department, University of Pennsylvania, 1902; lawyer; elected on a Fusion ticket to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1911 term; reelected as a Keystone party candidate for the 1913 term; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House (1914); Assistant United States Attorney (1917-1922); chair, Pennsylvania Workmen’s Compensation Board (1923-1927); Pennsylvania Civil Service Commissioner (1940-1944); died, May 5, 1962 in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
