THOMPSON, John Keene, a Representative from Centre County; born in Stormstown, Centre County, Pa., May 12, 1867; graduated, Friends Academy (1888); clerk and timekeeper, Juniata Mining Company (1 years); general store manager (2 years); traveling salesman (45 years); unsuccessful campaign, treasurer, Centre County (1899); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1902 General election; died, July 11, 1936 in DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Morningside Cemetery, DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
