SPENCER, Milton, a Representative from Cambria County; born in Williamsburg, Blair County, Pa., November 12, 1856; teacher (11 years); assistant postmaster, United States Postal Service, Hastings (1892-1893); editor and manager, The Sentinel; editor, Barnesboro Star; assistant postmaster, United States Postal Service, Barnesboro; clerk, McMillen & Killens Insurance Agency; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1925 and 1927 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1929 term; died, April 18, 1939 in Pennsylvania; interred, Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Glasgow, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
