SPEISER, Maurice Joseph, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, December 23, 1880 in New York City, New York County, NY; attorney-at-law (1905-1948); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1912; resigned from the House, June 27, 1913; appointed, assistant district attorney, city of Philadelphia (1913-1926); died, August 5, 1948 in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
