Woolen Mill (8 years); store owner; elected, sheriff, Cambria County (1891); president, Dollar Deposit Bank, Johnstown; director, Johnstown Trust Company; trustee, Johnstown Savings Bank; trustee, Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital; president, Consumers’ Ice Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1902 General election; gubernatorial appointee, state superintendent, public grounds and buildings (1903-1907); died, February 1, 1923 in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
