SHAMBACH, Thomas Franklin, a Representative from Snyder County; born in Loganville, York County, Pa., October 31, 1883; graduated, Bloomsburg Literary Institute and Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); graduated, Central Pennsylvania College; graduated, The Pennsylvania State College (now The Pennsylvania State University); teacher; supervising principal, Middleburg schools; chief clerk to the commissioners, Snyder County; deputy treasurer, Snyder County; operator, wholesale lumber business; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1923 and 1925 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1926); landscape artist, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission; died, August 6, 1958 in Snake Spring Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
