ROW, St. Clair Charles DeVeny, a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Williamstown, Dauphin County, Pa., July 3, 1877; attended, West Chester Normal School (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania); attended, Albright College; attended, Susquehanna University; attended, (Central) Pennsylvania Business College; farmer; teacher (15 years); principal’s assistant, Williams Township High School (8 years); tax collector, Williamstown (5 years); elected, treasurer, Williamstown (4 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1911 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1913 term; died, July 27, 1914 in Williamstown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
