RHODES, William Manning, a Representative from Fayette County; born, April 1, 1889 in Dunbar Township, Fayette County, Pa.; store manager, Walnut Hill Supply Company; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1916; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1918); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1918); employed, A. Gude Sons, plant nursery, Rockville, Md.; died, July 14, 1961; interred, Damascus United Methodist Church Cemetery, Damascus, Montgomery County, Maryland.
