REYNOLDS, Walter S., a Representative from Lawrence County; born in Neshannock Township, Lawrence County, Pa., December 24, 1874; B.A., Grove City College, 1893; served, Company E, 15th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1898-1899, Spanish-American War); lawyer (1896-1937); elected, solicitor, South New Castle borough; unsuccessful campaign, District Attorney, Lawrence County (1900); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1905, 1907 and 1909 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1911 term; unsuccessful campaign, mayor, New Castle (1910); member, State Republican Committee; unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1924); died, June 15, 1937 in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Park Cemetery, New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
