REESER, Mandus Welles, a Representative from Sullivan County; born in Cherry Township, Sullivan County, Pa., July 31, 1854; farmer; engaged in the lumber industry; hotel proprietor, Mehoopany House; elected, justice of the peace, Sullivan County (15 years); elected, assessor, Sullivan County (6 years); elected, road commissioner, Sullivan County (12 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1911 and 1913 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1915 term; died, October 19, 1923 in Colley, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania; interred, Colley Cemetery, Colley, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.
