RAY, Frank P., a Representative from Crawford County; born, July 30, 1838 in Quincy, Adams County, Il.; graduated, Allegheny College, 1862; corporal, Company K, 8th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861, Civil War); teacher; attorney (1863-1905); elected, district attorney, Crawford County (1869-1872); city solicitor, Meadville; legal advisor, Erie Railroad; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1900); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1902 and 1904; died while in office, May 11, 1905 in  Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greendale Cemetery, Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
