POST, Sterling T., a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Scott Township, Lackawanna County, Pa., October 31, 1891; graduated, Bucknell University; teacher; elected, Point Township School Board; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1927 term and served 2 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1932 General election; cheif clerk to the commissioners, Northumberland County (1932-1945); unsuccessful campaign, recorder of deeds, Northumberland County (1945); died, February 12, 1948 in the city of Northumberland, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
