PATCHIN, John H., a Representative from Clearfield County; born in Patchinville, Burnside Township, Clearfield County, Pa., April 9, 1868; graduated, Bucknell University; attended, Lafayette College; farmer; lumber and mercantile business; partner, Patchin, Noecker and Ake Shipbuilding Company, Camden, NJ; director, First National Bank, Glen Campbell; elected, town clerk; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1894; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1896); reelected to the House in a Special Election, January 5, 1926; Sworn-In, January 13, 1926 to serve the remaining 1925 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1927 term; died, August 3, 1943 in Burnside, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Clark Cemetery, Burnside, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
