OSBORNE, Bryan Hill, is a Representative from Venango County, Pa.; born in Franklin, Venango County, Pa., August 10, 1858; graduated, Cleveland (Oh.) High School, 1876; attended, Ohio Wesleyan University; attorney; partner, McCalmont and Osborne; elected, council, Franklin (2 terms); elected, delegate, Republican State Convention (1894); elected, mayor, Franklin (1896-1899); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican to serve the 1903 and 1905 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1907 term; director, First National Bank of Franklin; director, S.T. Karns’ Sons Company; director, Sibley Soap Company; secretary, West End Water Company; trustee, State Hospital for the Insane, Warren, Pa.; trustee board president, Franklin Hospital; died, March 15, 1924 in Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania; interred, Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania.
