NICHOLS, William Henry, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., August 31, 1853; superintendent, Straub plant, Pittsburgh Brewing Company; elected, common council, Pittsburgh (1894-1895); assessor, city of Pittsburgh (1901); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1903 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1905 term; president, Liberty Brewing Company; died, July 28, 1911 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
