ARNOLD, Edward L., a Representative from Lebanon and Lancaster Counties; born in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pa., March 4, 1943; graduated, Lebanon Catholic High School, 1961; B.A., political science, Lebanon Valley College, 1966; dairy farmer; vice president, Arnold Acres, Inc.; employed, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture; elected, commissioner, Lebanon County (1979-1986, 2002-2003, 2010); appointed, Human Services Commission of Pennsylvania; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1990; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1992); president, 941 Farm, Inc., Lebanon (1992-2011); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (2002).
