McCLURE, James Focht, a Representative from Union County; born in Lewisburg, Union County, Pa., January 9, 1892; graduated, Bucknell Academy;  graduated, Bucknell University, 1911; A.B., Amherst College, 1913; attended, University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1913-1915; sergeant, 107th Ordinance Depot Company, United States Army (1917-1919, World War I); lawyer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1925 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1926); president, Selinsgrove Water Company; elected, solicitor, Union County (1944-1946); died, July 22, 1976 in Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania.
